Planning and Development

The Planning and Development Department consists of three divisions. Each division specializes in various stages of the community development process and all work collectively to improve the overall quality of life of Corinth by implementing the best development practices.

**Notice Regarding Development Related Applications Submitted to the Planning Division **

The City of Corinth has retained the services of an outside engineer ing firm to assist the City in providing timely review s of development-related applications (Plats, Site Plans, Zoning, etc.). Per the Fee Schedule (Ordinance No. 23-10-19-42), Applicants are required to pay 100% of Engineering costs. Throughout the review process, Applicants will receive periodic invoices for the direct engineering costs to review applications.

Guiding Policy

Over the last several years we have been actively reaching out to our residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to proactively plan the future of Corinth. During that time, the City has adopted exciting new policies and plans to guide future community, economic, and infrastructure development. Recent adoptions include among others, the Envision Corinth: 2040 Comprehensive Plan (adopted July 2020), Envision Corinth: 2040 Park, Recreation, Open Space Master Plan (adopted September 2020), Strategic Plan - Embracing the Future (adopted), and the new Integrated Stormwater Management (iSWM) Manual (adopted December 2019) to guide new development.
